This first Community Store is dedicated to supporting mental wellness and fostering community connections, reflecting Starbucks mission to create welcoming spaces for meaningful interactions. Through partnerships with Gardens by the Bay and MINDSET Care Limited, Starbucks Singapore is working to raise mental wellness awareness across the community.
The store was inaugurated by Minister of State for Social and Family Development, Ms Sun Xueling with the aim of supporting mental wellness and fostering community connections, reflecting Starbucks mission to create welcoming spaces for meaningful interactions.
A thoughtfully designed space that features informative panels offering self-care tips and resources, encouraging awareness of mental wellness.
Throughout the store, specially curated artworks celebrating human connections that unite people are showcased, reflecting Starbucks commitment to fostering a vibrant community where everyone feels welcome.
In partnership with Gardens by the Bay and MINDSET Care Limited, 20cents from every cup of beverage sold at this Community Store will be donated to help fund workshops and activities for beneficiaries of organizations dedicated to mental wellness.
Starbucks partnership with Gardens by the Bay supports mental well-being through workshops for the public and the Gardens' Gift of Gardens community outreach initiative. “Wellness Friday”, will be held every second Friday of the month, allowing seniors and caregivers to enjoy activities such as gardening at Active Garden’s community garden.
The collaboration with MINDSET Care will extend to the Active Garden Community Store, where MINDSET will curate wellness resources and host future events, enabling beneficiaries to experience the Gardens through specialized workshops and programs that promote mental wellness and foster connections within the community.
