On 19 April 2023, Starbucks Singapore implemented a 10 cents disposable bag charge upon customers’ request of a disposable bag per transaction.
Starbucks’ goal is to become resource positive, giving back more than we take from the planet. It takes all of us to create a meaningful impact and we would like to invite our customers to join us in our journey toward a resource-positive future by adopting a more sustainable lifestyle and encouraging the habit of reducing the usage of disposables.
This applies to both dine-in and Mobile Order & Pay orders (except Starbucks® Delivers).
You can opt for more sustainable options by bringing your own reusable bag.
Should you have any questions, please contact Starbucks Customer Service at www.starbucks.com.sg/rewards/contact or call us at 6513 7500 (Mondays to Fridays: 8.30am to 5pm, excluding Public Holidays).

Starbucks Singapore is not a Halal-certified establishment, as we source from various suppliers. However, we do take measures to ensure that there is no pork, lard or alcohol in any of our drinks and food offered in our stores.
It's our special bag with a one-way valve that allows the carbon dioxide released by freshly roasted coffee beans to escape a sealed coffee bag without allowing flavor-robbing oxygen to get in. All Starbucks coffee are sold in 250gm bags and are sealed in our airtight FlavorLock™ bags within two hours of roasting so that it stays fresh until you’re ready to use it.
Yes, our baristas can assist customers to grind coffee beans purchased from our stores upon request.
For the freshest tasting coffee, we will recommend starting with whole beans and grinding them fresh for each pot. Or, if you prefer, we can grind the coffee fresh upon purchase to cater for the different brewing methods used at home or office
Drip makers perform best with a grind specifically for a flat bottom or cone type filter. All Starbucks stores can grind coffee to this specification. Espresso machines are grind-sensitive and require a very fine grind, 30-35 seconds in a blade grinder. Slow and fast shots are often caused by a grind that is too fine or too coarse, frozen or refrigerated espresso beans and tamping coffee too hard or not firmly enough.
Starbucks offers used coffee grounds as part of our social & environmental initiative. You may contact the store before your visit to make an arrangement so that they can prepare it for you in advance.
We will recommend storing it in an airtight container in a cool, dark place and grinding it just before brewing. Once roasted, coffee begins to lose its flavor the longer it is exposed to air and moisture. Coffee in an unopened FlavorLock™ bag will stay fresh for several months - check the “best by” date printed on the back of the bag.
